For years, I journaled on the same four issues: weight, love, jobs, and friendships. Then I realized it wasn’t about the specific problem, it was all of the TYPE OF THOUGHTS I was thinking that kept me stuck IN the problem with no resolution.

Why is it that some people are able to resolve problems quickly while others get stuck feeling stressed out and confused as to what to do next?
One of the biggest reasons for this is because most Stressed Out Successes are unaware of the two phases of working through a problem.
Phase One is where most people get stuck.
They recycle past evidence of what was possible for them and equally recycle future worst case scenarios that limit what options they can take today. And without catching those terrible thoughts, they will continue to believe what their brain is telling them without ever questioning the quality of those “logical” sounding thoughts.
In order to become Stressproof, our goal is to reach Phase Two quickly.

Most Stressed Out Successes spend a majority of their time trying to resolve the problem so they don’t have to feel so stressed.
There’s nothing wrong with that but if you still feel stressed even after you’ve solved your problem, there are two critical mistakes you might be making.
